  • Place of worship ~ The synagog, also the Tomb of David.
  • Where the religion began & where is it practiced? ~ Canaan. This religion is commonly known as Isreal today. It's practiced in Isreal, the US, U.K., Canada, & Australia.
  • What are the main beliefs of this religion? ~ Belief in Allah; only one God. Belief in holy books; Quaran. Belief in the "day of judgment"; when you die there will be a final day of judgment where you will be judged by Allah and if you were a obeyed the ays of a Muslim.
  • Religion Gods ~ Allah is Judaism's God. He is described as the Gracious, the Merciful, the ONE, and that there is none like him.
  • Sacred writings & what they contain ~ The Tora, and it contains 613 commandments. The 10 commandments are considered the most important. These commandments teach Muslims how to act, think and even feel about life and death.
  • Religious practices, how they worship, and how they practice their beliefs ~ Judaism is practiced by praying to Allah, and worshiping him. They worship him by praying Salat, which is their formal prayer. They practice their beliefs by praying , teaching others about it, serving the needy, and following the 5 pillars of faith. Also, Muslims read from the Quaran to help them understand how to become a better Muslim.
  • Religious festivals, how, when, and why do they celebrate these festivals ~ They celebrate Eid-Al-Fitr, which ends the month of fasting. They celebrate it at the end of fasting, and eat, join with family & friends, much like we do. They celebrate it because it's the official ceremony to end fasting.
  • Main symbols of this religion and what they represent ~ The main symbols are the Menorah, which is a seven branch candle used in Temple, and the Kippah, a small cap used for worshipping. It is worn to honor Allah while they pray in the synagogue.
